Things to do in Sealine

Sealine is the gateway to the dunes, roughly an hour's drive south of Doha past the industrial port of Mesaieed.

Almost every desert safari sold in Doha starts here, because this is where the paved road ends and the dune field begins: dune bashing in a 4x4, sandboarding down the slip faces, quad biking and camel rides are all based on this stretch of sand and beach. Sealine itself is not the Inland Sea.

Khor Al Adaid lies further south, on the Saudi border, and is reached only by driving on across the dunes in a 4x4 convoy, not by any paved road, bus or metro. Treat Sealine as the staging point, not the destination in itself, and check the operator's exact route before assuming an Inland Sea run is included.
