Things to do in Al Rayyan
Al Rayyan is Doha's western district, built around Education City and the Aspire Zone, roughly 20-30 minutes by road from West Bay. This is not a sightseeing quarter of monuments; it is a campus-and-sport zone, best suited to families with a full day and to anyone interested in modern architecture.
The main indoor draw is the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, opened in 2022 next to the Aspire Zone's Torch Tower and Khalifa International Stadium.
Metro Gold Line stations serve Education City and the Aspire area directly, which matters in summer, when the outdoor grounds around the stadiums are uncomfortable from mid-morning onward.
