Leave The Pearl with enough daylight left to reach Katara before sunset; a taxi or ride-hailing trip between the two takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes in normal traffic, making this the shortest transfer of the day. Katara Cultural Village sits on the coast between The Pearl and West Bay, built to resemble a traditional Gulf town with an amphitheatre, galleries, mosques and a public beach, and it is deliberately designed as an evening destination: restaurants and cafes along the waterfront fill up as the light drops, and the beach and promenade are a pleasant place to end a day spent mostly among modern towers.
