Bezienswaardigheden in Al Rayyan
Al Rayyan is Doha's westelijke wijk, gebouwd rond Education City en de Aspire Zone, zo'n 20-30 minuten rijden vanaf West Bay. Dit is geen bezienswaardighedenwijk vol monumenten; het is een campus- en sportzone, het meest geschikt voor gezinnen met een volle dag en voor wie geïnteresseerd is in moderne architectuur.
De belangrijkste binnentrekpleister is het 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, geopend in 2022 naast de Torch Tower van de Aspire Zone en het Khalifa International Stadium.
De metrostations van de gouden lijn bedienen Education City en het Aspire-gebied rechtstreeks, wat er in de zomer toe doet, wanneer de buitenterreinen rond de stadions vanaf de late ochtend oncomfortabel zijn.
